Off to Chicago

I’m going to be at the Social Science History Association annual meeting in Chicago for the next few days, so don’t expect much in the way of posts. It’s my first time in Chicago so I’ll probably have some interesting impressions. If I’m lucky enough to get to a computer, I’ll be sure to share them.

is the online home of David G. Schwartz, who writes extensively about Las Vegas, gambling, and history.

He's the Director of the Center for Gaming Research at UNLV and has a Ph.D. in United States history from UCLA. He's also taught a range of subjects, running the gamut from hospitality security to gambling history to writing creative non-fiction.
