Vegas Valley Book Festival

October 9th, 2005 by Dave

Now that I’m getting the blog under control (and because I’m going to be out of the office most of next week), here’s this week’s big announcement:

I’m going to be appearing at the Vegas Valley Book Festival next weekend.

I’ll be promoting this book:
Cutting the Wire

More directly, I’m a panelist on one session and moderating another. They are both on Saturday, October 22:

10:30 -11:45, in the Las Vegas Library:
Poker on TV? Gambling as a Spectator Sport
Panel discussion with Peter Alson, Nolan Dalla, David Schwartz
Moderator: Jen Leo

and

Noon – 1:15, Reed Whipple Cultural Center
Q: Sin City or Suburbia? A: Both
Discussion with Geoff Schumacher and Jeff Burbank
Moderator: David Schwartz

It should be interesting.

BTW, I’m still experimenting with WP, hence the blockquote, link, and image–I’m seeing what works.
