Gaming Hall of Fame updated, completed

September 4th, 2008 by Dave

After a long and grueling slog, I’ve finally finished the Gaming Hall of Fame exhibit over at gaming.unlv.edu. That means that each of the 68 inductees has his/her (mostly his) own entry. Many of them have photos as well.

What’s so great about the Hall of Fame? Read up:

Induction into the Gaming Hall of Fame is the highest honor accorded by the gaming-entertainment industry. Each year, two or more individuals who have distinguished themselves through significant contributions to the gaming-entertainment industry receive this honor.

The Gaming Hall of Fame

I learned a few valuable things finishing this project. One is that there are some very interesting people in the Hall. The second is that you can make a perfectly good representation of a human being with two simple, easy to use geometric shapes.

Seriously, working on this project has been a lot of fun. Congratulations to the new members of the Gaming Hall of Fame: Bernie Goldstein (Isle of Capri), Bob Arum (Top Rank Boxing), Don King (Don King Productions) and Emeril Legasse (several famous restaurants).
