I've got something better I'm working on now--comparing the numbers for Trump Marina (definitely on the market) to a mini-casino. It will be posted soon.

Great analysis. I haven't seen the breakdown anywhere. I don't know why you would spend even $300 million a year for a $68 million gross gaming revenue. You had better have a very powerful non-gaming component if you want that to happen.

That said, I don't think this is a bad idea if it goes along with all the other things that have to be done to fix AC: cleaning up the city, lower regulatory costs, a new public-private marketing campaign and more. But I agree that the four casino limit is going against what AC has been: a free and open market.

This is a whole new paradigm. (I just wanted an excuse to use that word). (BTW. I prefer pronouncing the word as "pare-a-dig-um" instead of "Pair-A-Dime").

Yes. This AC overhaul seems fraught with unfairness and headaches, similar to the 'family jackpot plan' of the prior post.

Wouldn't "other casinos' expansion or infrastructure projects" just mean the money is going to the CRDA?
