These amusing, disturbing, or enlightening images from Atlantic City, home of the world's best Italian bread. I was born and grew up here. I don't have them in any order. I want you to see the city's many facets more or less at random. The Boardwalk Cats make an appearance here. If you're curious, they are a colony (actually several colonies) of feral cats that live under the boardwalk--hence the name. There is an organization that takes care of them. Mostly they just hang out under the boardwalk and gaze indolently at the dunes, but some of them are very friendly. There are a few other landmarks, like the Irish Pub (cheap food and drink, and good) and Tony's Baltimore Grill (best pizza on the island), and a few shots of the Taj, where I used to work, and its environs. |
